A Trusted Name in South Florida Since 1976

Since 1976, Bo-Bart Truck Toppers, Inc has been a trusted name in South Florida for truck toppers, accessories, and custom truck solutions.

Bo-Bart’s story began in upstate New York, where Robert Thompson built truck toppers alongside his son, Richard. After bringing the business to Florida in 1976, Richard continued his father’s legacy and eventually took over the business in 2004.

In 2012, Jari Hakkarainen joined the Bo-Bart team and spent the next 10 years working alongside Richard, learning the business and building relationships with customers along the way.

In 2022, Jari and his wife, Lily, purchased Bo-Bart Truck Toppers, bringing their own experience as business owners to the next chapter of the company. The Hakkarainen's also own and operate The Export Connection, Inc. since 2010.

Today, we’re proud to carry on the Bo-Bart name and the tradition of personal service that has been at the heart of the business for nearly 50 years. We’re grateful for the foundation built by the Thompson family and excited to continue serving the truck owners and enthusiasts of South Florida for years to come.
